Our 2011 auction fundraiser raised over $1,800!!!
This February we organized an auction fundraiser for the Stafford County SPCA and raised over $1,800. These funds will be used for animal care and rennovations. The Stafford SPCA is a registered Virginia "Not for Profit" animal rescue organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of area animals. They are committed to caring for animals in need, educating the community and raising awareness of the importance of putting a stop to animal cruelty and abandonment.
Our 2010 fundraiser raised over $3,000!!!
https://www.guidingeyes.org/home/ Our 2010 fundraiser allowed us to sponsor a graduation for a guide dog and his/her owner ($500) and name a puppy ($2,500). Guiding Eyes does not allow dogs with the same name in the same class due to the specific type of training. Therefore, we had to submit 6 names to Guiding Eyes, as the first 5 names were taken. In the end they approved our last choice, Warsaw. Guiding Eyes names each litter born according to the letters of the alphabet, so we are waiting for the "W" litter to arrive. Although Warsaw hasn't arrived yet, we are keeping our fingers crossed for him before, during, and after his birth. We hope that he is born healthy, passes his training, and lives a long and happy life. GO WARSAW!!! Graduating Class of December 2010
Guiding Eyes is an internationally accredited, nonprofit guide dog school with a 50-plus year legacy of providing the blind and visually impaired with superior Guiding Eyes dogs, training, and lifetime support services. Although the cost of preparing a blind person and guide dog for their new life together is nearly $40,000, there is no charge to their students. **

Lifesavers In Search of a Home I have always wanted what you have
wanted: A warm, safe, cozy bed And someone to tuck me in at night, To kiss me on the head.
I have always wanted what you have wanted:
A warm meal, maybe two. Clean water would be nice, as well Some toys and bones to chew.
I have always wanted what you have wanted:
A place to call my home With love, attention and playmates too Just not here scared and alone.
I see feet walking past my cage, My tail thumps wildly in glee.
But no one notices how cute I am. Why doesn't anyone play with me?
I have always wanted what you have wanted:
Just come inside and take a glance Rescue me from this high kill shelter Don't I deserve a chance? | |||

When we heard about the plane crash on April 10, that killed the President of Poland, military and other government officials we decided to show our support. Many of the 92 government officials that died were great people that supported many charities and were huge supporters of animal rights.
Beau-dacious Paw Supplies and an anonymous donor selected an animal rescue group in Poland that was/is in dire need of supplies. On April 16, we sent a large box of supplies (pet beds, grooming brushes, collars & leashes and lots of toys) to a rescue called Animal Asylum. It took two weeks for the package to arrive and they were extremely grateful when they received it. Below is the thank you letter that we received from their organization.
Search for Animal Asylum on Facebook and visit their photo albums!
